João Filipe and Randy Slaugh have invited us to The NAMM Show in Anaheim, Los Angeles, CA which took place from June 3rd to June 5th 2022 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Me, Matic, and our producer Matej went and the experience was phenomenal! We got to see / try out a bunch of cool gear, from new Ocean Way and Ausperger studio monitors, to new Dynaudio and PMC Dolby Atmos systems, to Abasi Concepts guitars, to InEarz Audio in-ear monitors, to a variety of new guitar effects pedals, interesting synths, VR show projects and muuuuuch much more! We might put together and post a video about it in the future (?)!

We have finally met with João and Randy in person, and we also had a chance to meet and / or hang out with a lot of remarkable people from the music industry, such as Tosin Abasi (lead guitarist for Animals As Leaders and founder and CEO of Abasi Concepts), Rabea Massaad (guitarist, known for his YouTube channel, ex-Dorje guitarist, also plays guitar for FrogLeap etc.), Mike St-Jean (keyboard player for Devin Townsend, composer, producer, design creative),  Allen Sides (legendary producer, 5-time Grammy-winner, who has worked with Green Day, Eric Clapton, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Frank Zappa and maaaany many others), Sylvia Massy (also a legendary producer, who has worked with Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many others), Stu Brooks (bass player for Dub Trio, he’s also toured with Danny Elfman, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga and many others), Anže Rozman (film composer in Hollywood, also working for Hans Zimmer), Thai Long Ly (producer, has worked with Pink, Robbie Williams etc.) and maaaany many others! 

We have made some great friendships, connections and acquaintances, and some of them will lead to some very interesting (and relatively huge) things happening for Hei’An in the near future! More info TBA soon!

Also, we wanted to take this chance to remind everyone that our first single “inferno” is coming in June, so extremely soon now!
