The Slovenian post metalcore band Hei’An invites you to a two-day celebration for the release of their second album, titled Kiss Our Ghosts Goodbye.

Since their music is not sweetened enough, Hei’An is hosting the two-day festival at the sweetest venue in the country — at Cukrarna.

This release party will last two days. On the first evening, it will be opened by Martina Et Al. and the mystical Pavlov, while Hei’An will perform the entire Kiss Our Ghosts Goodbye album on the first day.

On the second day, Arklight will be coming to Slovenia for the first time. These seasoned Austrians skillfully blend classic metalcore with shoegaze, and the Istrian colors will be represented by the furious From Ashes.

For the second evening, Hei’An is preparing a special set, an atmospheric and powerful journey through melancholy, strength, breakdown, and rebirth.

After the concert, there will be an afterparty with a special Hei’An DJ set, which will transform Cukrarna into a dark dance catacomb until late into the night.

As is fitting for a festival, food and drinks will be provided at the Hei’An Kiss Our Ghosts Goodbye Release Festival. In front of Cukrarna, you can grab a bite from the ShowFood food truck (yes, vegan options will also be available), and at the bar, for the bravest guests, there will be Hei’An beer brewed especially for us by the Koper microbrewery Naboj.

Hei'An x The Amity Affliction

Beyond honored to have had the opportunity to contribute some additional choir vocals and gang vocals to 3 tracks on the upcoming re-recorded version of The Amity Affliction’s hit record “Let The Ocean Take Me”, namely “Pittsburgh (Redux)”, “Death’s Hand (Redux)” and “Give It All (Redux)”! ❤️

It was soooo much fun to do this, and I couldn’t be more proud to have been a small part of such a monumental project! ❤️

A big THANK YOU to our great friend and producer Randy Slaugh, who invited me to do this, to the boys from The Amity Affliction for having me, to their manager Caleb for being the nicest person ever, and to our FOH engineer Peter Dimnik who helped me record and engineer these vocals before sending them over! ❤️

Make sure to go stream TAA’s new single “My Father’s Son (Redux)” from the upcoming record, and keep an eye out for the full album release on September 27th! 🙌

Album II FULLY RECORDED!

February has been WILD, and we can finally say that Hei’An Album II has officially been fully recorded!

Huge thanks to Blaž Lončar, Jure Pišek, The Last Cell and everybody else for lending us gear for the guitar recording, to Matej Humar for assisting the drums and bass recording, and to Robi Bulešič and Primož Velikonja from Beartracks Studio for recording and engineering the drums, bass, moog and vocals!

>And of course, THANK YOU Primož and Robi for the insanely good vibe, it was definitely one of the best recording sessions we ever did, both as a band and as individuals! WE LOVE YOU!! ❤️
The album will now go into the hands of our brilliant producer and friend Randy Slaugh, and then straight into editing, mixing and mastering!

We will now all have to wait a bit, but we are incredibly excited for everybody to hear this when the time comes!
